Do you encounter issues where ShadowPlay's icon fails to display at times?
This situation has been ongoing for several driver/GF Experience updates. The Instant Replay icon will appear in the game's default lower right corner, and when it does, I can easily retrieve the last 20 minutes of gameplay with Instant Replay (Alt+F10). Recently, however, when I press Alt+F10, no notification pops up confirming the save, and the icon disappears entirely. Interestingly, pressing Shift+Alt+F10 to turn it back on shows a message that it is being turned off. Despite ShadowPlay indicating it was actually active, no capture is saved. When I exit the game, use Alt+Z to open the ShadowPlay HUD, disable Instant Replay, and enable Desktop Capture in Privacy Control, and the icon reappears in the game. Last night I missed a valuable capture of the 2nd Realm Tear battle at Nilfheim in God of War. This appears to be a persistent issue, but I plan to verify with others before assuming it’s a new problem. It might be an oversight by Nvidia, affecting only GTX cards since most driver updates now target RTX.

Discovered the latest update released yesterday that allegedly resolves a bug where Instant Replay shuts down unexpectedly in multi-monitor PC configurations. It seems they hadn't noticed this problem in single-monitor environments as well. I'll keep an eye on it to confirm if it truly addresses the issue, so I've resumed disabling Desktop Capture temporarily.
Squashed bugs!
Updated to the newest NVIDIA security patches.
Resolved slower video frame rates when using desktop capture and camera simultaneously.
Fixed Gamestream pin pairing issues.

Sure enough, I missed another promising shot that could have been made if Nvidia had addressed this issue. I managed to capture one solid image during the 3rd Realm Tear battle at Niflheim in God of War, which came much faster than expected. However, after struggling to locate and place the three rune chest paddles, I realized the icon was once again missing. Now I’m back to setting it for desktop capture, hoping that works. If not, I’ll have to switch to manual recording.
