Do my used graphics cards work with Windows 11?
Hi all, so I have a reasonably sizeable collection of GPUs, most of which have driver support only up to Windows 10. Seeing as I will eventually have to upgrade all my systems to Windows 11, I was wondering if the latest Windows 10 graphics drivers for these cards would work on Windows 11 for games (not new games obviously, I mainly play older games) Thanks!! My GPU collection for those interested: GeForce 6600 GeForce 6800 GT (rarer AGP version) GeForce 9400 GT Radeon X 1900 XT (Mac Pro edition) <----- This card & above obviously don't support Windows 10 GT 220 (2x) HD 5450 GTX 460 HD 6750 GTX 570 R7 370 GTX 660 R9 270 R9 270X GTX 960 (2x) R9 290 GTX 780 Ti HD 7990 (Sadly broken) GTX Titan Black GTX 980 Ti GTX Titan X (Maxwell) RX 580
I'm pretty sure about this, but I've heard something important. AMD probably won't get new drivers for cards like the 580 and above until soon. In contrast, Nvidia's latest is on the 750ti and up, which means older cards don't have those fresh driver updates yet. When Windows needs to run, it will likely use the very last driver that was signed by AMD or whoever makes them.
