I’m assembling my inaugural personal computer and would greatly value guidance from an experienced individual regarding this project. My intended use is gaming, with potential overclocking and future expansion considerations.

Components: NZXT H500 case (£65.99), MSI B450 Tomahawk motherboard (£91.94), RX 580 ARMOR OC graphics card (£199.99) – could you recommend an alternative? Ryzen 5 2600 processor (£144.98), Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 300MHz RAM (£105.14), EVGA 650W BQ 80+ power supply (£73.99), ADATA SU800 128GB SSD (£31.58), Seagate Barracuda 1TB hard drive (£38.98), two Arctic fans (£8.96), four fan splitters (£6.99), and a Viewsonic XG2401 FreeSync 144Hz monitor (£194.86).

The total cost is approximately £982.42, and I’m seeking feedback on potential modifications or enhancements. Thank you for your assistance.

The construction appears quite robust. Proceed with confidence, provided the 300 MHz RAM specification is actually 3000… as 300 is exceptionally low, particularly for DDR4. 😄

The AM4 platform offers future upgrade potential and allows you to boost the performance of the 2600, even with its included cooler; it’s a generally reliable system.
