Hi, on my PC I'm only playing two games (CSGO & Dota 2). I need to know what I need to upgrade to run them at the best setting and high frame rate with a low budget. My current computer has: AMD Radeon r9 390 Intel Core i7-2600 8GB RAM TY

Honestly, both of these games need to run well above 200 frames per second if you have a good computer. Call of Duty is very heavy on the processor, so getting a better machine might save your time.

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any CPUs on hand that use very little money to work well into the future?

You can find great deals on Intel 10th or 11th generation chips right now, or even Ryzen 3000 series models. For you, the i5 11/10400 and Ryzen 5 3600 are both excellent upgrades. Honestly, though, you'll need new RAM and a new motherboard to use them. Newer chips run faster but cost more for less bang per buck. A single generation older than the absolute newest seems like the best value for money here. I don't think you should go lower-end compared to those. Even the fastest four-core processor wouldn't be that huge an upgrade in my opinion, and moving up six cores is way better on price-performance. So, i7 4770 vs i7 7700k probably aren't a big deal unless you can get a bargain for an i3 12300 with cheap RAM.*

*It's a four-core CPU that isn't bad, but it is the fastest four-core available. I think it would be fast enough to be worth upgrading, even if there are no other options like this one.*

To get started on Siaan with some of my own experience, you can run both games using your current setup. I usually talk more about the game Dota (playing it for 7000 hours over eight years) when making these points, even though at max settings on a CPU upgrade alone, you won't see high frame rates in Dota. That said, upgrading just the CPU is a great first step. You'll also need to upgrade your GPU, but as Siaan correctly points out, boosting the CPU is more important right now. The most chaotic team fights with lots of illusions and big area-of-effect spells really make my i7 8700k and RTX 2080 Ti feel sluggish when set to max settings on both games. I just wanted to give you a better idea if you plan on playing Dota at maximum performance.
