I'm running an i7 8700k at 4.8 performance.
I'm using H100i v2 water cooling.
Motherboard: Corsair - Vengeance LED 2x8GB
Memory: DDR4-3000, 1 SSD, 1TB 7200 hard drive
Storage: Corsair - CXM 650W ATX, 500GB NVMe
Power Supply: 970pro 500GB Samsung NVMe
Cooling: Extra 3 120mm fans
Upgrade plans: EVGA - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11GB FTW3 HYBRID GAMING, overclocked to 2100 (if lucky)
Appreciate your assistance.

Although the PSU will manage the load, I would still upgrade. You have a lot of costly gear inside and a relatively low-end PSU. Choosing a cheap PSU is never wise. Aim for at least 80+ Gold. The Corsair RM series performs well, and there are other PSUs that match that quality.

650W is sufficient for the 1080ti and 8700K overclocked...you’ll be reaching close to or just a bit past 500w...Personally I’d eventually increase it to 750W just for peace of mind...I know it’s a psychological thing, but what are the possibilities?

They're fine, everything works well.
The PSU provides two 6+2 power connections as needed.
The specifications mention a maximum power consumption of 280 watts.
The remaining load isn't too heavy.
