Hi everyone, wondering if I really need to buy a USB thing that goes through 2.5 Gigabytes just to get the internet from my Comcast plan. My plan is 1000 megabits down and 20 up, so do I even need it? Thanks for any help out there!

No, that's not true right now. All the wired network stuff we have today is set to gigabytes of speed.

Thanks to that, I won't spend my money on that specific USB stick then. I was thinking about getting one from Amazon, so I decided to check first because I already bought some of those plugs earlier and they kept disconnecting a lot. I thought maybe I should buy a newer Sabrent model instead, but after asking myself if it's really necessary, I chose to wait a little longer.
