I need help upgrading my laptop's hard drive. My computer is a Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 with an RTX 4050 and Ryzen 7 processor running at WQHD speed. I want to switch the storage from Gen3 to Gen4, so which SSD model works for this machine? Please let me know thanks!

Welcome to our forum! I want to suggest trying Device Manager so you can see all your storage drives listed there. Check the specs page here: https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/IdeaPad...g_3_15ARH7 It says there are two M.2 slots for your laptop. You should watch this video guide on how to take it apart: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UbpNo7d35Wc and look which one is already used. Please tell me where you live and what money you have set aside for buying an SSD. Right now, just make sure the BIOS is up to date with the newest version.
