Has anyone experienced DNS adjustments following an update? I’m running Windows 10 Pro and modified IPv4/IPv6 DNS settings to use ad guard a few weeks back. Recently, ads appeared on my machine, so I checked and everything switched back to automatic. I understand this might happen in Windows 10 Home but is it designed to take precedence over user configurations in Pro? Are there registry tweaks or policy rules you could apply to prevent Windows from altering user settings? Thanks ahead. P.S. I know changing DNS through the router works best, though I don’t have access at work.

Post-updating the network drivers, I had to reconfigure the system. Your IT team probably handled that update.
