You suspect a DLLhost.exe infection. Every time you connect to the network, your CPU usage spikes to 100% and this process runs. You're looking to eliminate it without needing details about its function.

The imaging isn't complete yet, but I've switched the suspect to rundll32.exe. I terminated it using the command prompt, and my CPU usage returned to near zero.

In Task Manager, click on the process and check its file path. If it doesn't show \Windows\System32\rundll32.exe, you might have a virus.

You need to press F8 to start the boot process. Or look up instructions for restarting in Safe Mode.

Simply install any trial version of ESET or Kaspersky and let it solve your issue.

Mushies... reinstall your operating system. This comes from a place of care, but if you have something like this installed on your device, you should start fresh. We can't know what else is present. It's 2015—everyone should be ready and ready to reinstall their OS and all associated drivers/programs, ideally around 20 times, to ensure a smooth experience. If you're not up for this right now, focus on building a setup that makes it easy to do it later.
