Received my brand new DJI OM 4 SE gimbal recently, but I can’t power it without connecting it to a charger. Once plugged in and turned on, everything works fine. The app shows charging progress, reaching full charge, yet when unplugged it shuts off immediately. I’ve tried various chargers—5W, 25W, 45W—to see which one actually starts the process without needing to be switched on. Only the higher wattage ones seem to indicate charging has begun, while the lower ones don’t initiate anything. I also notice a coil whine during the charging phase. Despite hours of charging, nothing changes. It feels like there’s no battery inside. From what I’ve found online, the firmware is up-to-date, but updating it doesn’t seem possible. No visible damage detected.
