I recently acquired an NZXT H5 flow, a Ryzen 7 5700X, and a 2x16GB 3200MHz RAM setup. I began upgrading by swapping cases and moving from the 2700X to the 5700X along with the RAM. I carefully followed all the wiring guidelines until the last minute. When powering on the MSI X570 gaming plus motherboard, a red LED appeared next to the CPU debug light. I attempted to re-seat the CPU, RAM, and cables from my 750W power supply. All fans operated correctly, including the AIO cooler and GPU fans. Despite this, no display showed up on the main monitor even when trying to access BIOS. I updated the BIOS the day before realizing it would be essential for the 5700X. I also tested the system with just the M.2 drive, CPU, RAM, and GPU before installing the case, which successfully booted the BIOS and recognized the new CPU. The problem arose after installing the case, so I wasn’t too surprised to understand why I was encountering a CPU debug error. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Present the board, I wouldn't bother much if RMA was offered. Besides, MSI X570 VRMs are pretty bad except for the Tomahawk, so you might want to switch to a more affordable B550.

It looks like a weak idea to simply purchase a new board.

You can choose to receive a new part or opt for a full refund to purchase another model.

I haven't used this board before—it's been around since 2019, so I'm unsure if returns are available.
