I bought a 2007 Mac Pro and two Dell HD 6870 graphics cards. The display shows 1080p at full resolution perfectly. It has run on Lion and El Capitan. However, when I switch to 2560x1080, everything turns into a square mess. I've searched for fixes but most advice just suggests using the option key to adjust resolutions. That's not my issue. My main concern is that the image appears as a square regardless of settings. I've also tried changing the monitor's aspect ratio to wide (21:9), but the picture remains pixelated. Do you have any suggestions?
