I just got a brand new rx6700, and the performance is amazing. Just that every five minutes -or so the screen goes black for a second, and it reappears again. I can still hear audio while the screen is blank. It happens in multiple games (the ones that i have been able to recreate the problem are: Halo Infinite, Forza Horizon 5 and Motogp 22). It is very anoying that this happens, and i woud appreciate if someone coud help. My pc specs are: GPU: XFX Speedster 309 Radeon RX 6700 (23.2.2 latest adrenaline drivers) CPU: Core i5 11400F Ram: 16gb of 3200mhz ddr4 PSU: Gigabyte 550w OS: Win 11 Home 22H2 I upgraded from an RTX 3050 and used DDU to unisnatall those drivers. I already tried uninstalling the drivers using amd´s cleanup tool and reinstalling them, but i have the same problem.

Have you considered swapping out the display cable? Which monitor model are you connecting? Are you updating the latest monitor drivers?

I'm dealing with an AOC CU34G2/BK and didn't realize display drivers existed. Windows keeps trying to install NVIDIA display but always fails. I'll switch cables now since I don't have time. My old GPU worked fine with the same setup. Thanks for your help so far!

You can locate the monitor driver at the provided link: https://eu.aoc.com/en/gaming/products/mo.../downloads. If Windows attempts to install the Nvidia Display driver, it indicates a potential issue with your operating system or that the previous GPU was still present. Clearing the Windows update cache might resolve the problem. Running sfc /scannow will help verify and repair any corrupted system files.

I believe I resolved the issue by connecting my cable to a different display port on my GPU. I've been able to play FH5 smoothly for roughly an hour now.
