I assembled my initial PC around 17 months back, using all components except a 2060 and an HX850. Upgraded to a 3060 Ti and an HX1000 just 9-10 months prior. Hardware includes: CPU - i7 10700K, cooler - NZXT Kraken X61 MOBO, RAM - Asrock B560 PRO4, GPU - Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB (4x8GB), PSU - Gigabyte RTX 3060 Ti, M.2 SSD - Corsair HX1000, SSD - WD Blue SN550 1TB, SSDs - Crucial MX500 1TB & 2TB. Recently, performance has been slipping in several titles—textures, rendering, and occasional stutters or crashes. Some games are more affected than others; a clip from Black Ops 2 helped pinpoint the problem. I switched to 16GB RAM last week to test if that was the culprit, but the issues persist. I’m running Windows 11 version 22H2, updated from Windows 10 three months ago. Three days ago I performed a GPU DDU and reinstalled the latest drivers from NVIDIA.

It appears the textures' LOD is adjusting based on distance from the viewer. I'm not certain if this can be modified within the game's settings. Performance issues over time might stem from factors like drying thermal paste, rather than just LOD changes.

It's not limited to just the game code; I only picked this version because it highlights the issue most clearly. The problems began recently, and performance issues started after the texture problem appeared. I've played both the 2060 and the 3060 Ti for similar durations without encountering any issues. Even when using VLC on YouTube, Netflix, or a movie, I sometimes experience visual lag or stutters now.

Sure, just share the video files from another game. I'll take a look at them.

Recent bios updates confirmed for version 2.30. Explaining this setup for my first PC is necessary—only using standard NVIDIA drivers. Updated GPU drivers available within the past three days. Latest chipset drivers match the GPU bios details; I checked Device Manager to verify the current driver. Audio and network drivers are functioning properly. Temperatures during gaming show CPU around 40-65°C, rarely exceeding 70°C, while GPU stayed under 73°C on a 45°C day. SSD firmware is fully updated and stable.

To locate the vBios, identify the precise card model, then navigate to its webpage and explore the support section. This process is similar to handling the motherboard. Regarding the Chipset drivers, refer to Intel rather than the manufacturer of the motherboard. Board makers typically don’t update drivers, especially once a device has been available for extended periods.

It's typical, I've been enjoying War Thunder for more than eight years and haven't experienced this problem no matter what device I use.

The first point is the GPU driver for the iGPU. You'll also need that, though it doesn't impact the 3060Ti issues. Intel INF (chipset driver) is available here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/...ility.html. You can also try the Iobit driver booster. It's suggested to turn off MultiPlane Overlay MPO and use InSpectre to disable SPectre and Meltdown mitigations that affect CPU performance.
