I own a laptop (ASUS GX701GX) connected to two monitors... one via HDMI and the other through DisplayPort over type-c. When I power on the machine, one monitor fails to turn on. I've tested other devices in that port and none work. It seems the connection might be faulty. I'm exploring possible solutions before giving up. The issue started after switching from a full shutdown to hibernate, but I'm unsure what else could cause this. Thanks, -Ninjasupahsquid

Do other USB devices function correctly? Is your GPU driver operating smoothly? Since your laptop includes a MUX switch, ensure the DP and HDMI connections are linked straight to the dedicated GPU—verify that the GPU is functioning as expected.
