Hello everyone, I'm working on a fresh installation and have a few queries. First off, I'll be using the Ryzen 7 5700G mainly since the system won't have a dedicated GPU. It's not for gaming, and it will be a Linux build for development purposes. My issues begin with the motherboard and the monitors. I already have two Dell displays—one P2719HC and another P2719H—both FHD. They're currently connected to my laptop via DisplayPort, and they're linked together, meaning one cable runs from the laptop to the first screen and another from the first to the second. I'm not sure if this setup is supported starting from DP 1.2 or higher. Does that imply a motherboard with DP 1.2+ automatically supports daisy-chaining? Otherwise, I might need to switch things up (perhaps a quadro P400 with three DPs). Thanks ahead!
