Your laptop originally had a physical printscan key, and it used to open the screen capture feature directly from the clipboard. With OneDrive integration, those settings are now stored in the cloud. You can try resetting the keybind by using the built-in system tools or checking your device settings for any saved shortcuts. If needed, you might need to manually adjust the keyboard shortcut in your operating system or use a third-party utility to restore the original configuration.
I don’t like the sniping tool, but I just needed a simpler way. Previously it worked well for full-page shots, but thanks for bringing it up—I understand you’re using the sniping tool now.
I'm still figuring out your question. Could you clarify the issue you're facing or explain what you're trying to achieve with the printscreen feature?
My print screen shortcut is being replaced by OneDrive. I can still capture screenshots, but it saves to OneDrive which I don’t want. I prefer using the print screen key directly, like when Win+PrntScreen runs, and I’d like that functionality back. I hope this helps get the print screen to work with just one key instead of two.
Adjust the default location for screenshots in Windows 11 by changing the root directory. Typically it uses C:\users\x\onedrive\pictures, but you can move it elsewhere on your system. Enabling OneDrive will automatically place screenshots in the standard user data folders such as Documents and Pictures.
