Display loading interfaces on the M.2 drive
When using just one drive, set M.2 as an AHCI device and disable all RAID settings. Install AHCI/RAID drivers via the Windows disk selection screen—follow the prompts to load the driver, unpack the Intel storage management package from your motherboard manufacturer, and place it in a folder on your USB drive. After installation, select the USB disk during setup and choose to load the driver; the M.2 should appear. Additionally, when starting Windows installation, select UEFI and choose USB disk at launch (press F12 during startup) to ensure proper installation of Windows later.
I hadn't noticed this before either, having used AMD CPUs for a while. It came up when I was configuring a new laptop without Windows for a family member with an Intel CPU. I contacted support (they said it applies to new Intel CPUs from the 9th or 10th generation onward).
Hello! I managed to figure out the big clue. Just turned off Intel Rapid Storage, restarted it, and then I was able to install Windows from there. Thanks for your assistance!
