Hey there, back a few weeks ago I managed to resolve my post problems by swapping in a new motherboard. My Ryzen 5 5600X with 16GB RAM and the Gigabyte RTX 3070 was performing well, delivering solid frames and a great overall experience. I decided to try out Modern Warfare again since it’s my main genre, but noticed my frame rates dropped dramatically—often into the low 40s and even lower. Since I usually see 120-140 FPS on Modern Warfare, this large drop is quite concerning. Could you suggest any solutions? Also, my drivers and games are all up to date, but render latency remains high across Modern Warfare, Destiny 2, ARK, and Star Wars Battlefront 2.
No adjustments were made to hardware or software, including Windows settings or Nvidia Control Panel. Did you attempt to reinstall your GPU drivers?
If you revert changes, obtain the latest drivers from NVIDIA (https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverRe...348/en-us/) and choose a clean install. If that doesn’t resolve the issue, remove the drivers via Device Manager and replace them with the downloaded ones. If that fails, use DDU (https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/dis...nload.html) to uninstall the existing drivers and then reinstall the ones you downloaded.
I understand. Could you let me know which step resolved the issue?
The solution involved performing a complete system reset during the driver reinstallation process.
