Display issue on GPU Black screen problem on your graphics card.
Hey there! I’ve noticed some issues with your GPU and want to help you fix it before things get worse. You mentioned experiencing a black screen in VR (specifically H3VR) at random times. It seems like the system keeps trying to launch video, which forced you to shut it down. Your setup includes an ASUS TUF Gaming B550-Pro with Ryzen 5 5600X, RX 580, 16GB RAM, a 3200W T-Force Dark Za Ram 650W PSU, a 1TB SSD, and the T-Force Z330 card. You’re using Windows Home x64. Could you share more details about the symptoms or any error messages? Thanks!
Have you looked at the GPU temperatures? It seems like a refresh might be necessary. Also discovered: I resolved the RX 580 black screen/disconnect problem by adjusting settings. Here’s what I did: Go to Radeon settings, select Performance, click Tuning, then Manual Enable GPU Tuning. Set State7 to 1256/1257 (base clock), enable Fan Tuning and Advanced Control, adjust high temp to 100% then lower to 75% and 50% (around 75°C and 50°C). Save changes. If it doesn’t work, check Radeon software settings under Display > Overrides > HDCP Support (turn off the toggle). If that fails, install MSI Afterburner, use RivaTuner to target 75FPS (or lower), set it to Stealth Mode, start with Windows, and keep it minimized. It must run continuously for the changes to take effect.
Thanks for your reply! I haven't looked at the temperatures yet, which might be an issue. I'm unable to check them right now because I have work tomorrow, so I need to leave. I'll update you once I run a test!
I recently checked the GPU performance again after playing for a while. Everything ran smoothly without any problems. The temperatures stayed consistent around 50-52 degrees. I also tried different games like Pavlov and Contractors to see if it affected things. It seems the issue might have been fixed by AMD updating their drivers, which I had to do on my PC. Thanks for your assistance!
