I was playing some games then suddenly my computer froze. I had to turn it off manually because it wasn’t responding. After that, the PC wouldn’t turn on at all—it would cycle through turning on and off without showing anything, with no lights on the mouse or keyboard. Eventually, it shut down repeatedly. I’m not sure what’s wrong. I tried using a different power supply, but it still didn’t work. My CMOS battery is dead, but I’m not sure that’s the cause. Should I consider replacing it?
Check the motherboard for any lights indicating power or status.
Without replacing the CMOS battery, the computer will not operate correctly no matter what you attempt.
my motherboard is outdated with no lights, but i just installed a fresh CMOS battery and it still works perfectly.
