My gaming performance has deteriorated significantly following a recent computer restoration.

Hello!

I’ve been attempting to resolve some performance issues—specifically stuttering—in several games, including Warframe, Torchlight 2, and others. After exhausting various solutions, I opted for a complete system reset in the hope of resolving the problem, but unfortunately, this has only exacerbated the situation. My hardware now performs poorly, causing considerable disappointment given my initial investment.

Previously in Warframe, I consistently achieved over 200 frames per second. In The Elder Scrolls Online, I maintained a steady 100 FPS on maximum settings. League of Legends ran at over 340 FPS, and Smite averaged 100+ FPS. Now, after the reset, I can't achieve these high frame rates or maintain stable performance in any of these games. In Smite, I now experience 60-85 FPS with erratic and disruptive frametimes. Similarly, ESO displays approximately 70-85 FPS accompanied by poor frametime and noticeable stutters. Even with Riva Tuner monitoring, my frame rate and timing remain unpredictable.

I’ve experimented with adjustments in the NVIDIA control panel, altered power settings, installed updated drivers, and disabled background applications, yet the problems persist. I haven't yet performed a complete video driver reinstall using DDU—I only utilized the standard “fresh install” feature provided by NVIDIA.

If anyone has suggestions regarding potential causes, I would be very grateful for assistance. Due to my current work schedule, responses may be delayed.

This shouldn't occur; you may have increased the video settings within your games.
