I've adjusted the details of your setup.
Current build: 3 months old
Recent issues: Black screen, GPU fans reaching maximum, only occurred during League of Legends
GPU load: High during games, low otherwise
Environment: Not overclocking CPU or GPU, latest BIOS, full PSU power supply
Components: CPU i7-10700K, Asus Strix Z590-F GPU, Msi 4080 Suprim X PSU, 12VHPWR
Power situation: Plugged in fully on both ends, no driver updates yet to resolve the problem
Reddit search: No helpful answers found, possible driver issue suspected
Still unsure if it's a Nvidia driver bug or another factor.
