Hey everyone, I just set up a new PC for my friend and have been facing some issues. While playing games, the machine crashes with black screens randomly, but Discord calls work fine. The shop said everything was okay when I brought it in. I’ve swapped in my own GPU and tried it, but the same problems persist. Placing his GPU and power supply didn’t help either. I removed my graphics drivers and reinstalled them, but nothing changed. I’m a bit stuck on what to do next. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
There seems to be a different problem here, but I'm experiencing random failures when posting and no video during startup. The setup and placement made it hard to check the debug indicator, though I now realize it's stuck on an orange DRAM light. It’s starting to consistently show a red CPU light on boot. It usually works otherwise, so I think the motherboard might be unstable—this could help you understand better.
