I understand, I missed that detail, suggesting it’s unlikely a memory issue specifically with this particular game. It appears he's attributing the problem to virtual memory. I’d recommend a comprehensive system check; it could be any number of things. Alternatively, he could take the laptop to a repair shop for assessment, particularly given his frequent need to adjust memory settings upon startup. This level of frustration isn't worth the continued effort.

Regarding laptop operation, when you initiate a “close down,” does this result in a complete cessation of activity, or does it transition to a paused state similar to hibernation or sleep? Additionally, it’s advisable to examine the available memory before launching a game; Windows could be utilizing so much RAM that the system frequently accesses storage to create space, potentially hindering game performance.

Given that we cannot provide application SAS solutions freely for a trial period—despite its questionable nature—it’s advisable to simply purchase additional RAM. If your system displays memory-related error messages, this indicates a clear need for more memory. Insufficient RAM to accommodate your program’s demands will inevitably lead to problems, and since RAM is reasonably priced, acquiring more is a straightforward solution.
