Discussion on packet loss challenges during gaming over a year.
It occurred unexpectedly. I recently installed a VDSL router hoping it would resolve the issue, but it didn't work. The problem arose without any hardware or network modifications.
I don’t see any other options besides pointing the finger at the ISP network. It seems like all hardware and software on your connection have been removed. They mentioned they don’t handle issues with games. vdsl refers to the old telephone line. The available bandwidth is quite restricted, and game traffic is sensitive to delays. I’m curious if they reduced priority for game traffic, leading to packet loss in delay-sensitive apps. The only other suggestion I can offer is switching to a different ISP. Alternatively, you could set up a mobile hotspot on your phone and test if the problems disappear.
The issue I'm facing with my ISP currently manages all internet servers. Other providers are simply connected to them. This means my problem won't be resolved by switching ISPs, right? I attempted to use my phone network, but the 4G signals in my area are very weak. I think I'll have to accept that finding a solution might not be possible. It seems like this isn't meant to be, but I really value your support and the time you took to comment. Thanks a lot!
