According to the guide, your GPUs will initially be placed in slots 1 and 4. Once those are taken, only slot #6 remains available. This slot combines lanes from both the CPU and PCIe bus, with lane allocation depending on the system settings. It seems the BIOS might offer options to choose specific lanes, though I’m not entirely sure about the exact meaning of "EVGA."
Sure, adding another card would help. It looks like it will work. For example, a 10GB NIC is possible. I plan to get a USB C hub with more USB 3.0 ports.
I reviewed the instructions thoroughly and slot 3 is also viable. This implies the card can fit between the 2080TIs or in slot #6.
