It's not necessary to purchase every expansion to enjoy all the content in WoW. The Warlords of Draenor expansion is often recommended, but many players find they can access a significant portion of the game with just that one expansion.

Purchasing any version of WoW before the official release includes all expansions up to Mists of Pandaria. Battle Chest and World of Warcraft discount offers together cover every expansion and provide one month of playtime. If you own an existing account, your purchase will automatically upgrade to the Mobile Preview. Note: You don’t have to buy the Battle Chest itself; it’s just part of the broader WoW experience. Essentially, any vanilla version grants access to all expansions without needing separate purchases for major ones like BC, WoTLK, Cata, or MoP.

You need to buy WoW plus WoD. The version without WoD, known as 'battlechest,' covers WoW Classic, TBC, WotLK, Cataclysm and MoP.

They’re around 50€ for WoD+BattleChest. Worth it depends on your needs. You’ll receive two months of both items combined.

I’d hold off until around 6.2 or 6.3. The 6.1 value is still low on the PTR, and many players are reaching 100 quickly because there’s not enough content at level cap. WoW seems to be in a rough phase. Just my thoughts.

All profiles are automatically enhanced to a version of panderia for free, but you must buy the WoD product.

Ensure you wait until around six point one before there are roughly two weeks of material available.

The game is like a full time job+ if you do all the content properly. I had to quit WoD because I had been spending 10 hours a day on it for more than a month. There isn't much content for casuals but if you enjoy raiding holy shit is it a good expansion. But it is a HUGE time sink.
