Hello fellow homelab lovers, MSP's and ETC. I'm seeking advice on the optimal way to deploy Windows. Smart Deploy works but is quite problematic. WDS has issues and corrupts after a month, while MDT is still on my radar. I'm considering MDT but want to know the best approach for mass deployment—around 50 desktops weekly. Thanks!
Seems unstable? Might be causing issues. Double-check these services and fix any problems?
I was working with WDS but the service kept refusing to start after a month. The only solution was rebuilding the deployment server. With smart deploy, the problem was it would repeatedly fail to connect to the SD API for account registration. It worked on one device, but I need a better approach for mass deployment in the office.
