What options are available for running PC games at 1440 on your LG C4 (42 inch)? You mentioned you already have a 3090 GPU and want to avoid the need for a higher-end card like the 4070 or 4080, which would require pushing 4K.

My LG C1 and 1440p scales perform well. Adjusting the resolution in the game should work similarly. C4 should behave the same way. If 1440p isn't available in-game, it might relate to settings on Windows. Use the Nvidia control panel to pick 4k under the PC resolution list instead of TV.

When using a nv card, apply integer scaling in the nvcp. This reduces the resolution to lower levels while keeping image quality intact at 1440p. Choose your desired resolution in-game, then adjust the GPU scaling to integer before launching.

Ensure the resolution and hz are pushed through the OS, setting ultra hd deep color on the specific HDMI port you're using. This step is important for older models, though it may not be necessary in the C4 model. Also, consider switching the TV to game mode.
