Hi, it looks like my question might need some tweaking. I’m trying to figure out how to connect multiple PCIe 4.0 slots on my X570 motherboard, possibly using a riser board with a controller to expand the available lanes. Thanks for taking the time to read!

It depends on how you plan to divide it into lanes. Just need M.2 units, right?

The chipset operates independently with its own set of lanes, similar to the CPU. The four lanes link the two chips together.
