I don’t have funds for Windows, so I might choose Ubuntu or SteamOS instead. But I’m curious—are there options to play non-Linux games on Linux?

Generally, older titles run smoothly with WINE, though exceptions exist. Roller Coaster Tycoon has worked for me, and many recent Valve releases also function well under it. The result varies by specific game.

Likely not, probably a technical preview. I’m fairly certain it’s free for a while, though I used to have a Win8.1 license.

The Windows 10 tech preview might end soon. It’s not safe to use tools like keyloggers, even if you don’t plan to use them for financial purposes.

What version are you using? If you let us see, we might be able to reduce the cost just enough to secure it for you.

It's a very affordable project with no space for Windows.
