I recently purchased a 2080 Ti amp extreme from Zotac. It seems to perform even better than expected for gaming. I have some questions about getting the most out of it, though. What is the typical overclock for this card? The OC scanner on firestorm suggested a best boost clock increase of +45mhz. This seems low, and I’m curious about possible issues. My thought is it might relate to my PSU, since I’m using a 650 gold from EVGA and one of the 8-pin connectors that splits into two. Another question is the average maximum power usage. My card can reach up to 112% max, while my previous 1060 could go up to 120%. Could this be due to my PSU or just the general max for this card? I don’t think it’s because of bad luck with the silicon since my GPU was in the 96th percentile when I ran userbenchmark.

You possess a card that was extensively factory overclocked.
Manufacturers refine their chips and offer the top performance in their premium overclocked models.
There might be a slight improvement, but don't rely on it.
In reality, you likely won't notice any significant difference.
Just appreciate your card.
The PSU is adequate, featuring multiple 6+2 power connectors for your two 8-pin ports.
No issues expected.

It's likely your PSU includes the correct PCI-E connectors.

I understand you're checking the connectors and wondering about the wire's power capacity.

using an adapter from 1 8pin to 2 8pins isn't advisable, a cable with 2 pins is fine, the preferred option is two cables, one with 8pin from each.
