Discussing your new PC components
You're looking to combine a Ryzen 5 3600 with an Asrock A320M motherboard and the RX5500 graphics card. The motherboard should support both the CPU and GPU, but confirm compatibility in the manufacturer's specifications. For powering this setup, a reliable 650W or higher PSU is recommended to handle the GPU load. Regarding GPU upgrades, consider checking for PCIe 3.0 support and sufficient VRAM if you plan to add more cards.
Check the BIOS settings on your motherboard to ensure it’s up-to-date for compatibility with the Ryzen 5 3600 and supports the GPU. You can find more details here: https://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A320M/index.asp#BIOS
Avoid that setup. For a strong 6-core Ryzen with high heat output, a solid motherboard is essential. I wouldn’t suggest models under B450.
Ensure you purchase a solid B450 with a heatsink for the VRM. A320 boards were originally designed for Ryzen 3 1200 and 1300 models.
I've also come across several YouTube videos demonstrating its effectiveness.
