Hey there! I have a query about setting up a Windows 10 bootable USB. I'm getting ready to switch from an AMD FX-8350 to an Intel i7 6700k with an ASUS Z170 Deluxe board and 8 GB of Fury-x DDR4 RAM. I understand I need to perform a Windows installation, but my H440 doesn't have an optical drive bay, so I'm planning to use a USB drive for booting. I used the official Windows download page (https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software.../windows10) to create the drive. I'm a bit uncertain though—am I actually installing a bootable version of Windows on the USB? I included an image of the file contents if that might clarify things. It appeared in my motherboard's BIOS with a watermark over the UEFI icon. Thanks ahead of time for your assistance!

The USB you got from the tool is bootable and ready to use. It seems like you were curious about its functionality, which makes sense since you wanted to test it without installing anything.

It should launch from the boot process.

I considered that choice. I wasn't certain if it would require me to proceed with the installation.
