You can add other files to your Windows installation drive. The extra space is just additional storage available, so you’re free to use it for anything you like.

you can technically use it for storage too, but when installing an operating system on a computer, be sure to delete the files or you might damage the OS. also, just connect the USB after turning the PC on, so Windows doesn’t attempt to install the OS with additional files.

Ah, I thought keeping driver and OS-specific tools on dedicated drives would work. But if that’s true, maybe a single drivers folder would be better. Thanks for the details =)

In fact, keeping it in a separate folder will work. Avoid placing it in "install" or "boot" directories, etc.

Your boot USB appears as expected. You can create a dedicated folder for OS-specific drivers without any issues.
