I’m keen to boost my FPS without purchasing new gear or resorting to CPU or GPU overclocking. Could someone assist in picking suitable options?

you can't really get much out of the GT 730, especially for AAA titles, but there are still ways to improve performance:
attempt CPU overclocking and look for a balance between speed and stability (perhaps around 3.4–3.5 ghz), you should give it a try.
apply GPU overclock using MSI afterburner; an additional 100/200 mhz could boost your frame rate slightly.
remove any background processes running in the background.

The 37W GT730 can be enhanced effectively in the 75W 16x PCIe port.

What frame rate are you seeing now? We'll boost the CPU or GPU by 10% to meet a minimum of 30 fps, pushing your best performance up to around 33. Additionally, your motherboard struggles with 125w CPUs in stock configurations, making overclocking difficult.

The GT730 performs well at around 20% overclocking. A friend who uses racing sims on a 720HD screen enjoyed it, though he preferred the GTX750Ti more.
