I want to assemble my PC but am not satisfied with the current layout of the P5. I’m planning to drill holes to mount my motherboard. On Amazon I found options like brass and nylon. I searched for differences and saw discussions about using washers or brass to prevent shorts, though it seems like an old issue for older boards. My questions are: does it really matter which material I choose? Would brass be a better option in strength? Two other things: am I worried about short circuits here, and what’s the point of a carbon fiber case wrap? I’m sure these aren’t major concerns, but I want to be sure.
