I've been attempting to boost my 4790k's performance for some time now. I've given up a few times, but this round I'm really focused on solving it.
I've been following this tutorial:
http://www.tweaktown.com/guides/6572/asu...ndex4.html
However, when I open my BIOS, none of the settings listed by the poster are available. I'm unable to turn on XMP mode (my HyperX 1866 RAM doesn't support it) and I don't have the 1-4 core ratio limit. These features are simply missing from my BIOS.
Here are some screenshots:

I've updated my BIOS to the newest release, but that didn't resolve the issue—I still can't find a guide for overclocking without XMP. Any advice?

You don't require XMP for overclocking. XMP merely adjusts the RAM to its intended timings automatically. Just configure the CPU core ratio and voltage, and you're good to go.
