You're setting up a PC for your girlfriend and have some confusion about RAM speeds. The motherboard supports stock 2666 DDR4 or overclocked 3200 DDR4, so you can choose either option. Using 3200 should work fine without any issues unless you need higher performance. If you want faster speeds, you can look into BIOS settings to enable overclocking for the RAM. The TUF B450M-plus supports these configurations.

Enable XMP in the BIOS settings and that's all you need; otherwise it will operate at the standard speed.

Values exceeding 2666 MHz are considered overclocked, meaning they surpass the officially approved limits. To achieve 3200 MHz RAM performance, you'll need to either manually increase its clock speed or employ XMP profiles for automatic optimization.
