I'm just saying that I don't trust it. I know that you think is ok, so I don't say that using VSS must goes wrong. But still - VSS is not Macrium technology, it's part of Windows. Macrium Reflect only uses it. For those who wants to read more about VSS: link It's in fact complicated mechanism so I assume that sometimes something may goes wrong sometimes, even if in theory everything should work (like FastBoot in Windows - should work perfectly, but still causes some problems - and it's more widely used than VSS).
