My initial configuration consisted of a 3600 + 1070 setup with 16 GB of RAM running at 3000 MHz. I encountered some frame rate drops and generally low FPS in Minecraft (forge), which often made the game unplayable. Believing the problem stemmed from insufficient hardware, I upgraded all components—switching my CPU to a 3800x, my GPU to a 1080 Ti, and adding an additional 16 GB of RAM. Despite these changes, the same lag and FPS issues persisted. I played the game without any mods (just forge) and still experienced the same frame drops, indicating that my modifications weren’t improving performance. I also installed OptiFine and Patcher, two FPS-boosting mods, and ensured my Minecraft settings were optimized to enhance FPS. I play at 8 render distance, which removes 4 frames from the game. My system has 8 GB of allocated RAM, and it seems the game performs better with lower allocations, though with my mods, I still see a slight improvement. During gameplay, my CPU usage stays between 18-26%, while my GPU remains consistently at 12%. This is unexpected since both values are close to idle levels.

I have explored all possible adjustments, including changing the Nvidia control panel settings, but any suggestions should be kept below. I’m in a tight spot and ready to try anything further.

You're encountering the same problem on Badlion with your R5 3600 and 3060Ti, and you're trying to resolve it by changing how the app decides. There might be other settings or configurations that need adjustment.

Both Lunar and Badlion operate efficiently at over 300 fps even when multiple add-ons or mods are active. Would you have considered increasing the RAM allocation?

I've set aside 6gb of memory, and performance improved, though the lines remain visible.

I'm facing the same issue with the 3060ti. I apply the Sildurs Shader and adjust to around 40-60 fps.
