Discussing firewall port issues on a Minecraft server.
I'm managing a Minecraft server setup using ports 25565, 25504, and 25563. I can access the server from my local IP but cannot connect from other machines once all ports are active. I've removed my security software and turned off the Windows firewall. I've also disabled the IPv6 stack as advised in the outdated Linux tutorial linked.
I faced the same issue with my CSGO retakes servers in 2018. You need to include ports in both inbound and outbound firewall rules, plus router port forwarding settings for TCP and UDP.
Enable remote access so users can connect from different devices.
Thats a nice server. Mine is a dell optiplex 7000 with an i5 12500T, 16gb ram, 512gb ssd, and windows 11 pro.
