You still need to download the Wi-Fi drivers for your board. Even though you can connect via Ethernet, you’ll require the Wi-Fi drivers to install and configure the system. The MSI Z490 Gaming Edge supports Wi-Fi, but you’ll need to install the appropriate drivers on your flash drive before connecting.

The board includes standard drivers by default. This allows you to access the internet. From there, you can download any suggested drivers from the manufacturer's site.
