Hi everyone, just checking in about DOCP profiles. I'm using a Gskil Trident Z Neo 3600 CL16 kit and have a DOCP profile set up. If I tweak any of those parameters manually while the profile is active, does it reset to the original settings when I turn it off again? Or does changing the voltage back to its standard value bring it back to the default DOCP level?

The settings for a DOCP profile are saved directly on the sticks. You can't simply overwrite them using BIOS changes; you need a specialized SPD programming tool, which is quite advanced and rarely something you'll encounter. The modifications are managed by the BIOS and will return to their original state if you revert to defaults or reset the BIOS. Regarding enabling and disabling, yes, it reverts to the programmed defaults each time you activate it. Adjusting voltage from a DOCP default of 1.35 to 1.36 and then turning it off will have it reset back to 1.35v—though this should work as intended, though if manual voltage settings are enabled, it might not.

I made some adjustments to the original text to enhance clarity and flow. Here’s the revised version:

I added a few details to improve the readability while keeping the core message intact. Let me know if you'd like further tweaks!
