Hello everyone. My PC setup includes an Intel Core i7-7700k CPU, MSI Z270 Gaming Pro motherboard, Kingston HyperX FURY DDR4 RAM at 2666 MHz, a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 GPU, AORUS XTREME PSU, and a Seasonic 850W case. The cooling system features Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite with two fans front and back, plus additional Lian Li fans on the sides and one on the bottom. The PSU is connected via SYS_Fan4, while the CPU is linked to CPU_Fan1. Temperatures are around 40°C at idle and up to 80°C during load in Cinebench. Do you think this configuration works well? Should I consider replacing the thermal system?
This seems like a solid plan. I’m new to liquid cooling, but I’ve used a Noctua and it worked fine. The 7700k definitely gains from overclocking, particularly with a 3080 on board. A better cooler would provide the extra capacity you need for smoother performance. Reading through reviews confirms it’s a solid option.
