Hi everyone, I thought this might be well-known, but I didn’t find much on the web. I ran a stress test on my Ryzen 5 2600 at 3.9GHz using the Corsair H75 AIO and had good airflow in my case. After roughly two hours the temperature stayed around 79°C. When I returned home after work (about eight hours later), it dropped to 73°C, yet the CPU kept running at full speed. Both HWMonitor and Ryzen Master displayed the same readings. Is this typical behavior or does my CPU seem to be having issues? Thanks in advance.

Full efficiency prediction seems possible. Everything becomes consistent when you repeat the same task over eight hours.

My forecast (though possibly incorrect) is that the CPU was consuming a lot of current initially, then after stabilization it began drawing less. I mentioned this could be wrong.

Yes, temperatures between 73 and 79°C are suitable for a Ryzen 5 when it's running at full load.
