Link it with the CPU_FAN header to verify the fan operates accurately based on CPU heat. Varying coolers, case ventilation, and room temperature make sense. Stick with HWiNFO64 instead of HWMonitor.

For precise readings, use hwinfo64 or Ryzen Master. Ignore idle temperatures. Under load (run Cinebench multiple times), keep the temperature below 90°C and it should be okay.

Your room temperature is about 30°C, and you're using the built-in cooler with the CPU. You might connect it to the CPU fan header. Since you recently assembled the PC, this issue could be new. Are there any reliable stress-testing apps you recommend?

You can connect the system fans to either the CPU_OPT or AIO_PUMP headers. The motherboard supports both options, so it's fine as long as you match the fan type to the correct header.

The elevated room temperatures might also account for the increased CPU temperatures even during idle periods. Linpack Xtreme, Prime95 and Aida64 perform well under stress conditions. Attaching a fan to the AIO_PUMP header ensures it operates at full capacity continuously.

I would link the CPU fan to the CPU_fan header, use three fans for the cha_fan and assign the fourth to cpu_opt. Don't use aio_pump.
