unless you need other features like... SLI also i heard intel is looking at disabling higher RAM frequency on non Z board because it's "overclocking"

Avoid B and H series boards. Opt for a Z series if you can. Plus, there’s little value in locking Intel chips right now.

If you're not pushing performance beyond limits, this product feels completely irrelevant. It only makes sense if paired with a heavily boosted 10600K processor.
