Hello. Your latest assembly is complete. You're planning to upgrade the BIOS via USB, but your operating system (Windows 11) isn't installed yet. Many instructions say the process requires the OS to be present. Can a BIOS update function correctly and restart without it?

It simply refers to the system switching from powered on to powered off and then back on again. Following your BIOS upgrade, you'll return to BIOS and enter M. Flash mode (for devices using an MSI motherboard) should appear in a manner consistent with other compatible systems.

It's generally a good idea to refresh the BIOS through its own interface, regardless of whether you're using the operating system directly or not. Personal preference.

You can upgrade the BIOS by using the BIOS interface directly, which will restart the system. After confirming the new version, you can turn the machine back on.

Sure, the BIOS will restart several times, and you can return to it to adjust any settings. Head in—updating the BIOS usually clears your configurations. You can reset what you need, save your changes, then exit. If you're ready, turn it off or install the operating system.
